'I’ve always been a little obsessed with how sound works and how far it can be manipulated. When I was writing songs for what evolved to be ‘In A Day’ I was experimenting with stretching, slowing, glitching and speeding up sounds, so all of the songs on the album have at least two elements that are not as they seem' – Jeff Appleton
